Peter Dernoeden, Ph.D. is an emeritus professor of Turfgrass Science in the Department of Plant Science and Landscape Architecture at the University of Maryland. Scott McElroy is a professor of weed science in the Department of Agronomy and Soils at Auburn University. His primary research areas include weed management in turfgrass systems, and physiology and molecular biology of herbicide resistant weed species.

Micah Woods is Chief Scientist at the Asian Turfgrass Center and an adjunct professor in the Department of Plant Science at the University of Tennessee. After completing his Ph.D. at Cornell University, he moved to Asian where he conducts research and consults with golf courses and turfgrass professional in more than 20 countries.
