This policy explains what turfpath.com collects when you buy something here, and why. This site has no user accounts — it's a storefront for Turfpath, LLC's books. (The Turfpath mobile app has its own, separate privacy policy, since it collects different information for different reasons.)
Information we collect
When you make a purchase: your email address (always), and your name and shipping address (only for physical/hardback orders — never collected for digital-only purchases). We do not collect or store your payment card details ourselves; those are entered directly into Stripe's checkout, and we never see or receive them.
How we use your information
To fulfill your order: create a shipping label for physical books, generate a time-limited download link for digital books, and send you order confirmation and delivery emails. To respond if you contact support. We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it.
Service providers
We use Stripe to process payments (they handle all card data directly — we never touch it), ShipStation to create shipping labels for physical orders, Resend to send order/delivery emails, Supabase to store order records and host digital files, and Vercel to host this website. Each processes your information under their own privacy terms.
Data retention
We keep order records as long as needed for business, accounting, and legal purposes (for example, tax records). Digital download links expire automatically after 48 hours for security, but your order and the ability to have a link reissued does not.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information. Contact us at support@turfpath.com to make a request.
Security
Order data is stored with database-level access controls restricting it to our systems only. Payment card data is handled entirely by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor — this site never receives or stores it.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
